Tech Columbus
TechColumbus is a Columbus-based technology firm whose mission is to provide learning opportunities for tech-enable companies interested in development their own talent pool. This mission is achieved by reaching out to the business community bringing together technology-based and technology-enabled companies so they may connect, learn, and grow. Through education and networking opportunities, TechColumbus is able to develop international best practices that meet the needs of these new and emerging companies who are interested in attracting, retaining, and growing their workforce.
TechColumbus has the ability to help companies who are in the early stages of their technology development obtain funds through its Entrepreneurial Signature Program or help those companies, through its TechColumbus Entrepreneurial Services, implement their technological innovations.
The Entrepreneurial Signature Program has over $11 million to invest in early-stage companies and ideas. These funds represent a unique partnership and investment from the State of Ohio.s Third Frontier Program and a number of regional partners, such as The Ohio State University, Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Ohio Department of Development, Huntington Bank, Nationwide, and Ohio Health, to name a few.
Entrepreneurial Services is designed to assist companies in growing their businesses so they may become more successful and competitive. TechColumbus does this by formalizing business development processes and supporting business owners with specialized services such as management, marketing and business expertise.
As a world-class and nationally recognized incubator, TechColumbus provides lab space, facilities, shared services, advice and consulting services. TechColumbus also offers high-value networking and sharing of programs through their monthly Technology Leadership Speaker Series, IT forums and techtalks, peer groups, and member meetings.
Members of TechColumbus have access to learning opportunities for their entire organizations. Members also benefit from connecting with potential customers and suppliers who can share critical and valuable information.
